Access
A Convenient Location
The Graduate School of Clinical Psychology, Kagoshima University is situated in a very convenient location, around eight minutes’ tram-ride from Kagoshima-Chuo Station. It can also be accessed easily by Shinkansen high-speed train or by air, making it easy to get to from both the Kanto and Kansai regions of Japan.
- By bus
Take the Shiei Bus (Kagoshima City Bus) No. 9, 11, 18 or 20 bus, or the Kagoshima Kotsu Bus No. 19 bus, and get off at the Hobungakubu-mae bus stop.
You can also take the Nangoku Kotsu Bus No. 30 bus, get off at the Kadaikyoikugakubu-mae bus stop, and then walk for around 3 minutes.
- By Kagoshima City Tram
Get off at either the Toso stop or the Kogakubu-mae stop, and then walk for around 5 minutes.
- By JR train
Take the JR Ibusuki-Makurzaki Line to Korimoto Station, and then walk for around 12 minutes.
- By Shinkansen high-speed train
The shortest journey time by Shinkansen between Hakata Station and Kagoshima-Chuo Station is 76 minutes.
The shortest journey time by Shinkansen between Kumamoto Station and Kagoshima-Chuo Station is 43 minutes.
From Kagoshima-Chuo Station, take the Kagoshima City Tram in the direction of Korimoto, and get off at the Toso stop; the journey takes around 8 minutes.

The flight time from Haneda Airport to Kagoshima Airport is approximately 90 minutes.
The flight time from Itami Airport to Kagoshima Airport is approximately 75 minutes.
From Kagoshima Airport, the journey by airport bus to Kagoshima-Chuo Station takes around 41 minutes.
